She gave up asking about Su, as well. She wasn't going to understand it, and it was clear he cared about something, whether he believed in love or not.
"I never said I fucking wanted one, I said it was going to happen," Ginny told him, running her hands through her hair. "I'm not planning on marching up to the Ministry and giving them a speech on my opinions." Though it had taken every ounce of self-control she'd had not to start broadcasting these thoughts as soon as she'd had them. "I just... I can't stand that this happened to my friends. I know if I'd been included it wouldn't make things any better for them. It's not like they would have let one of them off the hook if I'd gone in. I still feel guilty."
