Isaac hesitated for a moment, staring at Marcus as he hit the wall. His expression was completely blank, neutral as he stood there. He had the insane urge to roll his eyes at the other man and kiss him until he begged but Isaac had his pride. He didn't need Marcus if he wasn't interested in what he was offering. "You're fucking right. Lavender is all I need, I was an idiot to think this was anything more than it is. It's always been just her."
He turned and walked away. He loved Lavender, Marcus was nothing. He told himself the words over and over but somehow they didn't work. He knew it was a lie.
