Lavender grinned and kissed Susan's cheek. "You're blushing. No the noodle thing is- cute. I've never heard of that before." She smirked and looked up. "Does it eventually fall?" she figured it must considering the ceiling wasn't full of noodles. "That's sweet, Suz, what a great memory." Lavender really had no such experiences with her mother and didn't even know her extended family much at all.
"I'll keep that in mind. I mean, I try to exude confidence but ee-" she made a face. Working in the bakery was plain scary.
As Lavender looked at the spread of food on the table she gaped before grinning. "I'm starving," she assured Susan. "And this all looks fantastic. Did you seriously make everything?"
