It was time to move on. Not that he didn't appreciate the place to stay but Adrian had his pride and mooching off anyone had never fit well into that. He would miss the food and the clean sheets and he'd even miss sitting and talking with Padma's father. He'd be lying if he said it wasn't nice to have a parental type figure actually be- proud of something like a career in quidditch. It might not be the career he'd always dreamed of but it was close. Not that he gave a shite or anything.
His knee still hurt and he was sure it would for a while now. But he was mostly healed otherwise and he had one person to thank for that. Well two considering her grandmother had played a role in that as well. But he'd been doing his best to charm her by way of a thank you.
Adrian was in the bathroom drying off his hair from his shower when he heard Padma's voice. He slung the towel over his shoulder and stepped out of the attached bathroom. "You know it's not fair, I can't call you P." He said as he leaned a shoulder against the wall, taking the pressure off his knee.
