STATEMENT
The Daily Prophet would like to apologise to all readers for the article finding its way into our publication yesterday morning. Rest assured that it was not in the version sent to the printer, and does not reflect the values of our newspaper.
Editor-in-chief Barnabus Cuffe has made the decision of stepping down from his post, and will be replaced by Flora Fairweather.
Ms Fairweather has over thirty years worth of experience as a reporter, editor, radio journalist and was most recently employed as a media liaison for the Ministry of Magic. She professes to look over the security measures at the Daily Prophet offices, to employ outstanding reporters and assess the ones currently on staff. She is dedicated to bringing you the news in the fashion you have grown accustomed to, and apologises for any distress and confusion yesterday’s edition of the Daily Prophet may have caused.
