The hug was less than what they had done in the past, his body responding to the familiar form. He took a deep breath and listened to her words. "He told you what?" Blaise's voice was loud in the small room. "Why would he lie for me?" Blaise heard the answer as she explained it but he was busy denying it in his head.
"I don't want it. I would rather take my sentence than have him lie for me." Blaise stood up angrily and paced the room. "How could you let him do it? Bloody hell, he is an imbecile." Blaise scrubbed a hand over his short hair. "What was his sentence?" Blaise hadn't been allowed in the courtroom until Theodore's trial was over.
