Blaise's arms felt like a long-sought solace. Tension left her shoulder's quickly. Her exhaustion eased into something she could accept-- she just felt simply tired. Still, she was just as guilty as that momentary wish. She wished, for a breath, that it was Theo she was hugging. Even though Theo didn't really hug that much.
"He told me to defend you." Melinda said after a moment. Slowly, she wandered towards the bed. Her arms crossed back over her chest, warding off the cold feeling that clutched her.
"You wouldn't have gotten a simple month in Azkaban, and you know it. He knew I could win, and that your solicitor wouldn't have enough time to build the defence I already had." Melinda explained, pausing to take a breath only to exhale it in a soft sigh. "He couldn't bear the thought of your children going fatherless when he could prevent it."
