Alicia knew she was being difficult. She knew that he had been worried about her and all he wanted to do was help. She was acting like a spoiled brat but she couldn't stop herself. She didn't want him prodding and asking questions. Didn't want to risk breaking down when she had been doing so well at pretending to brush it off. Why couldn't he see she was trying? Why couldn't he leave it at that?
"I don't like kids, George. That tactic wont work. She can pout all she wants, I'll just tell her to stop acting like a spoiled shit." He might be a lovey dovey dad now but she hadn't changed. Alicia had no use for kids. Okay, she wouldn't say that to George's kid (probably) but she was hoping to piss him off so he'd leave her alone. "I get that you're a dad now but you're not mine. Say what you want to say, I have work to catch up on."
