Pansy had come to the trial because she had to. These were her friends on trial and she wouldn't let them face this on their own. There was something to be said for Slytherin loyalty.
She had left her daughters and Simone with her parents and her elf and she couldn't help worrying about them while she was here. But she was determined to keep her children out of the Ministry's clutches. And that meant keeping the girls as far from the Ministry as possible at all times.
When Theo entered a plea of guilty, Pansy felt her heart stop in her throat. No, it couldn't be. A glance around at the other Slytherins confirmed her suspicions. Theo was lying. She didn't know why, but her heart went out to her friend, sacrificing himself for some other reason. Anyone who knew him, knew it ridiculous, but the Wizengamot seemed to believe him. Justice was a farce in this Ministry and Pansy simply clutched her purse tightly, keeping the pureblood mask in place.
