Eleria almost laughed. "Not evil," she said. "You allowed half a dozen Death Eaters to roam free and you're still stating that you are not 'evil'? Why, Mr Nott, if we had more time I would bring you a dictionary and ask you to read out the definition. I think you would find that you fit perfectly under that description."
He looked tired. It was the perfect time to dig just a little deeper.
"Families and familial duties are indeed important. Especially so, I expect, for someone who lost their parent at such a young age. Tell me, Mr Nott, what do you think your mother would say if she knew what way your father had chosen, and that you went in his footsteps? Would she be proud? Would she look you in the eye and tell you that you did the right thing? If not, I believe that you have not fulfilled your familial duty. I rather think that you failed doing so."
