Zabini III
One could hardly expect both trials to be as (relatively) straightforward as Nott's had been, but in truth Titus Belham was somewhat pleased that Zabini had plead not guilty. He had no doubt as to conviction, and he would relish the questioning process.
Belham took his time sifting through his papers, pausing to examine one before moving on to the next, wrinkling his forehead as if in deep thought, all to create an appearance of rumination. In truth he had the quote he wished to discuss all but memorised, and he read it out now. "Mr Zabini, on the twenty-ninth of March of this year, you stated in your jouranal, 'Italy is calling my name, England is losing its appeal.' That sounds very much like someone no longer interested in the well-being of our great nation, someone perfectly capable of unleashing Death Eaters to terrorise those of us who do care. What excuse do you have for that, Mr Zabini?"
