Eleria Windham-Pryce raised her might stack of papers. It was rather a shame that Mr Zabini had so much more incriminating evidence in his... journal (she shuddered at the mere idea of such modernities) than Mr Nott. They were both guilty, charged or not, but this one, he was putting on a show for the room, pretending he was nothing more than a scared little boy.
Ha. Eleria knew better. She'd seen his kind before.
"Ahem," she said, giving the crowd a withering look. "Mr Nott, are you aware of exactly how many lives your father took in the name of the Dark Lord? No? I have a list here," she held up a parchment, three feet long and scribbled full with barely legible text, "each name, each date, and so forth. These are the lives one Death Eater took. You have aided over a half a dozen more to roam free. Can you please stand in front of this court and tell us the reasoning behind such an act?"
