Zabini, II - Daphne makes a stand
Blaise had nothing to say to their accusations, there was nothing he could say that would ease their notions of guilt and he felt a horrible sense of deja vu as the trial preceded. He had stood in the same spot months shy of his 19th birthday and been accused of murdering and other acts that came with the mark on his arm. He had been silent then and he would be silent now.
"I have nothing to say, I am innocent. I have no knowledge of any of these events." He remained stoic, facing the Wizengamot until he heard Daphne's voice. Turning quickly he sought her gaze and frowned expressively. He wouldn't show emotion for the trial but he would not remain quiet while his friends sought to defend him and potentially get themselves in trouble. "Do not." He said to her. Think of Damien. He mouthed across the space, determination on his face.
