"I don't need a cuddle," she muttered, knowing that it was clearly obvious that she did. There was something impossibly lonely about Azkaban. As if even the thought of something good and warm had been an illusion. It was amazing how quickly it could tear at you, setting inside your skin. She wanted something warm next to her, to not feel isolated in a cold dark hell. Not that she knew how to say that out loud. Maybe with Charlie she didn't need to. "It's just for convenience. That's all."
"Thanks Charlie. I promise not to crash too long. Maybe a day or two, until I can figure something out." With no funds and no hope of funds in the near future. Her account was nearly empty and she had been skating by as is with work considering she never seemed to be able to be there. She'd worry about that tomorrow. "And you're right. I'd let you stay for at least a power nap."
Alicia grab a bag of crisps, going to sit down at his table where she opened the bag. Her hand shook as she grabbed a crisp, her hands the only part of her she couldn't seem to mask as normal. Luckily he was busy cooking. "Hey, I'm going to wash up a bit. I'll be back before you can burn the bread."
