Charlie had been more a wreck than he'd be willing to admit since finding out about Alicia's sentence in Azkaban. Angelina was still healing, and they needed to figure out a way to tell her about what had happened to Alicia without upsetting her recovery or incurring her wrath too badly. And Katie wasn't dealing well with the news, none of them were, but Charlie had tried to put on the brave face for all of them, even if he'd probably been more afraid for Alicia than the rest of them. He was determined, from now on, to keep a better eye on her and make sure that she didn't give the Ministry reason to come after her again. So far, his family was mostly out of danger, so Charlie had more than enough time to make sure that Al stayed that way, too. In all honesty, he was totally relieved when she asked him for a place to stay.
"Evening, Al," Charlie greeted as he opened the door for her. He gave her a small smile as he ushered her into the apartment. Maybe he was being paranoid, but he hoped that nobody from the Ministry had followed her here. Once Alicia was inside, Charlie took her bag from her, then he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into an embrace. "I've been doing something wrong if you think I'm going to make you sleep on the floor, especially after this week," Charlie answered, hugging her tightly.
