"I don't think we'll have to." Melinda murmured. She stayed silent for a long couple of moments afterwards. Her eyes scanned over the papers -- hastily written additions to perfectly neat files, disjointed additions, and missing sections of questionnaires. She knew that some of the broken lines were from her less-than-savoury way of obtaining the files, but the others...
"I know how to do this." She said after those long moments were up. "I know how they're going to cover their tracks." Hastily she stood from the table and stuffed all the papers back together.
"Michael said that these need to be checked out -- the records from the DMLE. I need to see that log book."
