"You would think that the whole branding people on both sides rather defeats that purpose. They can't point in every direction all at once."
Cho rather felt like she was watching one of those crime dramas aunt Tai liked so much. Being a part of it? Well, it wasn't as strange as getting a baby sitter to be able to go to resistance meetings, but it was definitely up there.
"I don't know," she said, trying to remember all the paperwork that passed her desk every single day. "It used to be serious crimes. It's not exactly easy to brew, so they saved it for the big cases. Death Eaters, mostly."
She paused.
"These two aren't Death Eaters, but it does involve quite a few of them. You would think that if they really wanted to catch them, they'd move through those bottles like there's no tomorrow. Get a true answer, toss the defendant out on the street or into a cell, move on to the next one. Except that they're not. It's all just for show."
