"Thank you. I am most appreciative of your assistance. I hope this isn't embarrassing for you."
He stretched out his fingers again, considering them while he put together a mental shopping list. The cynical part of him was again rearing its head. Best to assume that he would be found guilty of whatever crime they charged him with and prepare for it; it was far easier to be practical than accept or address how much that possibility truly frightened him.
"First, I need you to retrieve my house key from Astoria Greengrass. She was kind enough to take care of it for me. Second, my flat." He hesitated. The idea of anyone in his house when he wasn't there was an uncomfortable one. No time. "There is a book on the window-side shelf." What was it called now. That book Sofiya had so kindly spared. That the aurors had, thankfully, missed during their sweep. That he had charmed to look like something else. "Ten fungi for garden maintenance. I'd like you to send that to Sofiya Capper." He knew she would take care of it. "In my bedroom, above the bed, is a painting of a woman. I would like you to take that to Susan Bones and ask her if she would accept it for restorative work. Until I can come and collect it." And keep it safe, more importantly. "Lastly, my Gringott's key is in a box at the top of my closet. I'm not sure precisely where, I'm sorry. Vault 006. Please retrieve your solicitor's fee and whatever funds Miss Bones needs."
