Alecto's eyes widened, a delighted laugh escaping. "Oh my, this must be your fiance." Wand raised, she answered spell for spell, moving quickly to cancel those which Mandy sent, or to move out of the way of the wild shots. When she managed to move out of the way, she fired at Mandy, the bright green fizzling at the wards.
Draco shuddered at the feel of the deadly spell on the wards, barking out, "Mandy, stop! Don't come any closer!" He pushed at the ground, rocking back on his toes, coming to his feet and forcing himself to remain steady and strong as he held his wand out.
Alecto would kill Mandy, he could see it. His jaw tightened, remembering his sixth year all too clearly, and knowing what he needed to do. "What do you want from me?" he asked, tone deceptively mild, while he tried to will Mandy to stay safe within the wards.
