Susan had taken hours to decide on the perfect movie to subject Bastian to for his first cinema experience. He had asked for something mysterious, yet scary and she was more than willing to find something that fit into his specified criteria. Of course, he probably wouldn't have minded if she chose something else but Susan was a stickler for making things just perfect. She had read reviews in the paper of a movie called 'Mindhunters' that was playing in theaters this week. It was a story about a team of FBI psychological profilers who must put their training to the test when they find out one of their own is murdering the team off one by one. It was a mystery and it seemed rather scary. Actually, Susan hoped he wouldn't mind her jumping and eye closing every once in a while. That was, if he even noticed.
Though this wasn't supposed to be a date, Susan just couldn't help dressing up. After all, they were going out on the town. If she had to make an excuse, she was dressing up for everyone else who would see her. Deep down though she knew it was for him. He was cute, and she wanted to look damn good. Rummaging through her seemingly bottomless closet, she finally came across a dress that she had bought forever ago but hadn't worn. It was both dressy and casual, perfect for what she was going for. She completed the outfit with a pair of white heeled sandals (after all she was short and he was TALL) and a white half sweater. The sweater was just in case she got cold, which was probable in a cinema. They tended to have their air on high no matter what the season. Running a brush through her long, wavy hair she added just a bit of eyeliner and mascara before heading out the door.
With a POP she appeared directly outside the door to the Leaky Cauldron where they had agreed to meet and went inside to find a table. She wasn't very early, but was by no means late either. But she had to remember Bastian had a daughter to take care of unlike her, and he was allowed all the time in the world because of it. Or at least, she believed so. Taking a seat, she waited patiently for him to arrive.
