Luag pressed his lips together, not wanting to admit to Nate that he would more likely trust this task to Pansy that he would to Mandy. Which was illogical in a way considering he had know Mandy much longer, but he thought Pansy could handle it better. Maybe it was the pureblood understanding of doing things out of duty. That he trusted Pansy more to give up a child to them as opposed to Mandy who he wasn't sure wouldn't become so attached that she would never truly give it up. He wasn't even sure if he could count on whether they child they would try for with Mandy would turn out to be their own child or not. Not that Mandy was or would ever be an option.
"Aye, it's Trina then... We'll wait an' hope," he said softly before chuckling. "An' aye, there is always Cody..." Who made his heart ache because even if the boy was his, he felt like he had such a flimsy hold on him. That his mother could decide the next day to send for him and that would be it. He'd be out of their lives for good. Brushing his lips against Nate's, he smiled reassuringly. "We'll find a way. It's what we do, aye?"
