He had no idea who Luag might say, but he guessed he wasn't entirely surprised that it was Pansy. He'd been spending a lot of time with her, so Nate figured they'd gotten close. But he wasn't close to her. But if they did this, it'd mean she was a part of their life. Their family. "You know her better than I do," he said quietly.
And right. A pureblooded woman who liked being pregnant. Who Luag was close to. Nate couldn't help the shiver of fear and uncertainty that it brought, and he wondered if he would ever be absolutely positively sure that Luag would never want to do things "right", like his Dad would've expected him to. Hadn't they just been talking about that, after all?
