Marcus sifted through, finding a large skein of baby blue lace weight alpaca, enough for a shawl for Isolde. It took some time before he found the bamboo blends, setting aside one that was yellow in favor of a paler cream colour that was variegated to shades of brown. He glanced over at her comment, and grunted. "I've got roving, yeah, but it's not dyed. S'better to dye it after it's spun. But it's good leicester, carded, cleaned. What're you going to use it for and how much d'you need?"
He tossed the two skeins towards her. "These. Not done looking yet." It took him time going through yarn, large hands curiously gentle as he handled the fibers carefully. He was searching for something he could make a jumper for Isolde. He had a new pattern, a wrap that looked like it'd work perfectly if she got pregnant, expanding as she did. A faint frown pinched his forehead as he searched for something in the right weight, the right colour, and with enough for the wrap.
