Who: Susan Bones and Morgan Bletchley What: A job for Morgan (and she's dying to know what he looks like) Where: The Bones Mansion, West Sussex. Very hush, hush When: Tuesday afternoon Rating: Low
After finishing up at the Ministry, she apparated straight to her family's property in Sussex. The house was set on fifty sprawling acres that enclosed a pond, stables, servant's quarters, and quite a bit of forestry. Apparently, it had been in her family for generations and Susan wasn't interested in letting people know it existed. It was a safe place for her to go.
She had a bit of time, and took the opportunity to sneak out back and see her two horses. Both had 24 hour care from the few full time workers she employed at the house. They lived in smaller buildings in back, and Susan trusted them all with her life. Most had worked here long before Susan was born, and their children now as well. Not one to mistreat anybody, she made sure each one was making a handsome salary and always had a roof. It was a pretty good deal.
As the clock drew nearer to one, she walked through the dining room into the large entry way that sparkled in the early afternoon light. She was still a bit bruised and burned from her protest adventure the other day, but it would disrupt her sanity if she had to stay indoors for a second day. Plus, she had already been to the Ministry so she was obviously capable. Sinking down in a chair, she leaned back and waited patiently for either a knock, or the sound of the floo.
