Morag exhaled slowly and set down her quill to turn and look at Susan more fully; her no-nonsense expression softened a bit. What she would have done was probably a bit more blood-thirsty than she might have recommended, but it was a fair question, and one she'd been asked more than once. "I'd prosecute," she said honestly, but gently. "So that he doesn't think he can get away with doing this to anyone else. "Going to trial is difficult, aye, but we do our best to make it as painless as possible for the victim. Before we charge him with anything, we'll go talk to the shop people where you said you were taken, and if they testify it's pretty much an open and shut case." She chewed the edge of her lips. "And the next thing I'd do is not hesitate to use your wand any time someone tries to touch you again. If you need to brush up on your duelling, I can recommend a few places where they offer classes."
