"Not a thing," she said happily, setting her teacup and saucer atop the stack of papers to keep the breeze away from them. She considered the cottage behind them and then the garden before them, delighted at how organic it all looked, how natural and beautiful. She'd worked very hard to make it look effortless, and now, in the gentle Scotland sun, she very much appreciated her own tenacity.
A giggle escaped her, feminine and, for a moment, natural. Oh Robbie delighted her. Not in a normal, especially human way, but something of affection made it past the mountainous walls that surrounded her tiny heart and touched it a bit.
"I'd love to." She set a hand on his elbow and carefully pulled away from her chair, careful not to put more than a hint of weight on his arm.
