"Yeah, yeah," he chuckled. "Let me down easy, I get it." Oliver wasn't one to get worked up over these sorts of things. Oliver had a habit of flirting shamelessly. It didn't meant he'd not enjoy a date with the spitfire little redhead, but he'd flirted enough in his life to know that you didn't always get a yes, and that was okay.
"Well, glad I'm not your brother, too! Then you'd have had to tell me no twice!" Oliver gave her a little grin and a wink, followed by a quick shooing motion. "Go on now. Get back to work before Georgie yells at you, or you break my heart. One's bound to happen if you stay back here any longer." Oliver leaned back into the couch, settling comfortably again, a wide, lazy grin spread across his face.
