"Sounds like you're thinking about settling here at the shop, aye?" George could use some help that stuck around more than a season or two. Long term help was hard to find, George said, when he ran a business like he did. Oliver thought, mostly, it was that Georgie missed having a long term business partner.
"Wee lizards, aye?" Oliver mulled over the idea. "Has merit, but what's to stop them from burning a house down when a wean takes it home as a pet?" he asked, genuinely interested.
"Carry Oakie?" he questioned. "That a famous Muggle bird?" he asked, sitting up a bit as his curiosity got the better of him. His great-great-grandparents might have been Muggles, but he sure as hell had never been taught much about them. And his Gram didn't really do much the Muggle way, save bake.
