"Oi, I'll be taking care of the wee beasties, most definitely. That's what I like to do, yeah?" Emma grinned. "I've a good lot of beasties at home, although I won't take in more, not without upsetting my roommate, I'm thinking. But they do leave her alone, so everything's all right."
She hitched back on the table a bit, her feet swinging freely. "I've this idea, see, for wee lizards, rather like dragons, but not exactly. I was going to pitch it to George, see what he thought, but we got distracted by other shite and I never got around to it. I've got try to again with that, I'm thinking. And don't forget the pygmy puffs! He's no stranger to wee beasties."
She nodded at the idea of going out into the Muggle world. "I like Muggle pubs, yeah? M'mum was Muggleborn, and she tried to avoid it all, but I still ended up growing up with a good bit of it. And well, Hufflepuff. We've a good deal of Muggleborn folk in our house. Never really understood why folks were so against it." She shrugged. "Karaoke's brilliant, right?"
