"Not everywhere," Oliver admitted, a smile on his face, but perfect honesty in his voice. A few folks stopping him in Diagon Alley was part of him coming to Diagon Alley—had been that way since he made Asst. Captain. He couldn't imagine it got any better as Captain—which he still hoped to do someday.
"Hey, now—Georgie'll no suffer any cause I joke with a few kids. Georgie's rollin' in heapsa money," Oliver said, giving her his best grin. She was one of George's shop girls he hadn't met yet, so he'd do himself no good making her mad. Teasing was best, and she seemed good-natured.
"Och, aye, about tha'—" he drawled. "Dinna have an official appointment, perse, just got a break from practice and thought I'd pop by and see an old friend." Oliver saw the shop girl turn her attention back to the register, but he wasn't sure why, the other shop girl was just smiling widely and resting her hand in her chin. Oh, Ashley.
"I think that back'd be fine," he agreed. Ashley had tried to ask him out the last time he was at the shop, and he really didn't want to hurt her feelings. "Remind me where it is, Shopgirl who's name I dinna rightly know yet...?"
