"Do crowds follow you everywhere you go?" Emma watched the boys as they went back to browsing, making sure everything was back to normal, and she didn't need to break anything up. "And don't you tell them not to buy too much." One eyebrow went up as she regarded him. "That's my mate's livelihood you're talking about there. I already arse it up enough, I'm sure, scaring folks off. Don't you start doing it too."
She had no idea who she was talking too, but it didn't stop her friendly chiding, or the grin that went with it. "George didn't say anything about an appointment, but he ought to be back soon if you'd like to wait. Stepped out, just for a bit."
She heard a small cough behind her, and glanced back at the counter. There wasn't a queue, but the other girl was leaning on the counter, making frantic hand motions, and then stopping just as soon as she thought the bloke might look in that direction. Em turned back to him with one eyebrow up. "Or you could just stand here and get some more attention. Want to wait in the back?"
