daphne is not who you think (greenmum) wrote in afic,
As he wrapped his robes around her she easily let her body slink into the warmth; leaning back against him purposefully giving a shudder as the extra heat started to seep into her cold bones. Daphne's cheek pressed against his laughing quietly as he rubbed it across her skin.
"Quite rugged and manly, I'm sure the press despises the loss of their pretty boy." As she spoke her head tilted over giving Gawain access to her neck, hair sliding over along the curve of a shoulder. Biting the corner of her lip in a small grin, Daphne could not help but let out an almost silent shaky breath as she moved a hand from her pocket to rest on the back of one of his.
With another quiet laugh Daphne let her fingers slip along and over his, as she turned her lips to kiss the same rough skin that had played against hers. "You never would guess I was outside for hours; I still don't know how you Quidditch types ever manage to stay warm. Why couldn't you play the bloody sport during the summer months?" Her voice was teasing and Daphne let her head roll back again to rest almost warm against the perfect slant of his neck though slightly tilted up so she could take another small drag off the cigarette, careful to blow the smoke away from him.
At Gawain moved with quick succession thorough topics Daphne grinned and turned to nip almost playfully at the flesh of his neck, letting her lips play against it as she spoke. "Sounds wonderful, yes, and yes." If he was offering to cook and pamper who was she to turn it down? Not to mention it would be a fantastic distraction, which was truly the reason she had come out to the stadium after all.
