Nate took down two plates, one for a small selection of cannoli and Italian biscuits, another for some cheese and crackers. He couldn't generally eat while working, because he didn't want to get the oils on the fabrics, but he trusted he could clean his fingers well enough to handle his cards.
He set both plates on the table, then set the tea to steep and brought the pot over with two cups, along with small pitchers of sugar and cream, just in case Pansy wanted them. He slid into the chair next to her and smiled as he placed cheese atop cracker.
"I've brought both my decks," he said, gesturing at the two silk packages on the table. "I wasn't sure if you'd want to read with the old deck, or with the new one. I'd be happy to do either." He popped the cheese and cracker in his mouth.
