The girl's reaction told Kegan just about everything she needed to know. Shock, confusion, pondering, then acceptance. The last one was really all that mattered to Kegan. Truthfully, she couldn't care less what anyone was thinking, so long as they weren't about to strike out at her. As far as she could tell, Kegan was pretty sure this girl wasn't going to do so.
With a smile, Kegan nodded and ordered a dirty martini before returning her attention to Lavender. "Kegan," she replied simply, taking Lavender's hand and shaking it. A hand shake, well this would certainly be interesting. Kegan couldn't help but wonder about all the ways this night had potential of turning out. Good and bad, at that.
Picking the drinks off the bar, Kegan gave Lavender the dirty martini before slapping some money down. "So are you here for the band, or for the bar?" At an event like this, it was a natural question. Especially when the band was more unknown. Kegan had met plenty of people at concerts who didn't know anything about the band performing, but just liked coming to the bar. Not that she really cared what Lavender's answer was going to be, but she would like an excuse to keep any sort of conversation going.
