Lavender had been looking forward to the concert for a week at least. For her, with the attention span of a butterfly, a week was fairly significant. Of course, that made her day at work seem far too long and when she went home to change she realized she didn't like the outfit at all. A lot of thought went into looking casually cool. It wasn't casual at all.
On the back of her mind the whole time was the coin she'd received. It was too familiar to mistake what it was for. Then the argument between Michael and Anthony on the journals. The whole thing made her feel uncomfortable. She didn't like Hermione but she had a loyalty to the DA that was important, wasn't it?
The worry was making it hard to focus on the concert but she was trying. All she wanted to do was relax and have a little fun. A few people had said they were coming and she'd been keeping an eye out but Club Blue was pretty packed. She didn't even notice the woman who approached her.
At first she thought that she was a waitress but she wasn't wearing the typical uniform (blue, naturally). For a moment Lavender was honestly taken aback. Her lips parted in surprise but started to curl up on one side. Was this a come on? She couldn't figure out why her heart was pounding so hard and decided it had to be because of the unusual nature of the situation. "A dirty martini?" It was meant as a statement but she couldn't help phrasing it as a question.
Holding her hand out she finally smiled, deciding she'd been rude and was probably overreacting. "I'm Lavender," she introduced in her typically friendly attitude.
