Harry nodded at the question regarding the assignment. It was a surprise to him, really, that he was able to do so much. It was an assignment, wasn't it? He'd been chosen for this particular job. Why him? Did the Ministry think that he was better able to handle this sort of thing? Clearly not! So was it punishment? Were they on to him regarding Draco and his daughter? Was that why? But if so, why the other two? Why Blaise and Adrian? He wasn't hiding anything about them!
He had to get a grip. Turning his face up to the ceiling in supplication that maybe it would fall on him now, Harry reeled the tears back in, his teeth clenched as he tried to stem the flow, as he fought to regain his composure. He couldn't let this control him, he just couldn't. He had to warn the others, warn Hermione.
Hermione. "She has to go, she has to leave," Harry managed to say, his voice cracking on the words. "She has to go. On vacation."
