"Are you going to feed me now? Here I thought I was going to take care of you." She finished off her first slice, brushing the crumbs off the table into a little pile on her palm. Depositing them on a napkins she picked up the second piece, not eating it but giving her hands something to do.
"I don't even know that it is so much how the Ministry deals with the pressure but rather how the public perceives them dealing with it." She finally took a bite of the cooling slice, licking her lips of the grease. "I wish the Minister wasn't insistent on easing people into his laws. He needs to pull off the bandage at once so that they can deal with it properly. Dragging it out like this only gives them time to build resentment."
She was in favor of the Ministry but that didn't always mean she believed they did things in the best way. She wasn't a politician however, far be it for her to judge.
