Oh the exciting things he could come up with. Laughing at the idea of being a spy, she contemplated on the excitement it would bring. Perhaps it would actually be a refreshing change from her norm. But instead, she shook her head in the negative with a hint of amusement. "I wish... That would actually make my life seem exciting. Or maybe I could have talked some sense into a somewhat... senseless Minister." Taking another long drink, she settled back into the calmer atmosphere and sighed softly. "But alas, nothing like that. Instead, I lost myself to a world of work," she shrugged, giving her past a lot of thought in those few moments of silence between the two of them. "I worked almost sixty hours a week straight out of Hogwarts, and continued down that path up until recently. Thought that maybe if I lost myself to a busy world it would make things easier. Instead, it alienated me from most of the people I had left." She flicked her hand as though it was no big deal now however. "But I've decided recently that's not the way to live. Beginning to think that's a good choice."
After she finished her statement, Ingrid walked back from the kitchen with a tray full of all of their food, as well as the wine bottle. She refilled both of their glasses and made sure they were doing fine before heading off to speak with another customer. Looking down at her food, Susan's stomach gave an involuntary growl and she put her hand on her flat abdomen before her face turned a bright red. "Sorry," she muttered a bit embarrassed. Turning the attention away from herself however she questioned him as well. "So Theodore, what exactly is it that you do? Hopefully something exponentially more exciting than me. A dragon tamer perhaps?" she was joking on that last part of course.
