Nate kept his mouth shut on that, because from what he knew about it, he was pretty sure that if you were born bent, then it had to be hereditary somewhere in there, and he didn't want to make things worse. Instead he focused on the root of what Luag was saying.
"It isn't easy, trying to decide whether to keep him with you, or send him away where he's safe. Or, it'd be easy if you didn't care about it, but you want him." He stroked his hand over Luag's back. "I can see that much, that you really do want a chance to have him here with us."
