Letting out a content murmur, Luag leaned into Nate. The tension from the past few hours seeped out of him and he sighed heavily. "It isnae what ye think," he said softly. Picking up the ball that the deerhound dropped in his lap, he turned it around in his hands, focusing down on it rather than over at Nate. He knew this was stupid and that they could talk about anything together, but the topic still made him feel uncomfortable. He wasn't even sure exactly why, whether it was just because it happened before he had come out or if it was because it fed too much into the thought processes he had when he was younger about being able to live that sort of life.
Worrying his lower lip, he looked down towards one of the dogs. "It was just Davina an' her husband an'... an' one o' her husband's friends... an'... an' her boy..."
