WHO: Isaac Montague and Tracey Davis
WHEN: Saturday June 18, 2005
WHERE: Quality Quidditch Supplies, Diagon Alley
WHAT: Isaac's late-night-as-requested appointment
RATING: tbd
Any normal night? Yeah, the shop would have been closed and the floo warded shut. Tracey would have likely been in pajamas, falling asleep over a good book or while listening to the wireless. Instead, she was waiting. Pajama-less and with an open floo, waiting for Montague. The clock on the wall chirped again and she likely would have hexed it but it wasn't the clock's fault she agreed to this ridiculous late night meeting. 'Sure, come after curfew, I don't mind'. I'm such a bloody idiot. She was going to end up throwing something at that clock after all.
It wasn't as if she couldn't stay busy while she waited. There was always something to do, and Mandy was right, she did work too hard. She'd vowed that next week she'd place an advertisement for a helper. Anyone with a strong back would do. And preferably tall. And really good with inventory charms. She sighed and shook her head to move her thoughts on to other things besides a model employee wishlist.
Flint's brooms were about done. They sat in stasis at the moment, magic weaving in and out of them as they grew faster and stronger. She'd be able to test them as early as Monday. In the dark of night probably, if she had to charm herself to Marcus Flint's height and weight to get a proper assessment of how they'd fly for him. Tracey'd go above and beyond for her work. But dear Circe if anyone saw her! A little bit of self-mocking made her laugh though and that nearly covered up the sound of the floo.
