She knew she should focus on nothing but the horse but she couldn't help but cling to the feel of his hand on her own. It wasn't that she making some romanticized thing out of it, she simply missed human contact. It seemed she was fighting with every other person lately, including her family. She wasn't a touchy person to begin with but the lately she had felt so isolated. It was a little reminder that there were other people. Hardly the type of thing she would bring to his attention but there it was.
She hesitated as they moved towards the legs. Not only was it near on of its most dangerous parts but it meant she had to lower herself to get closer to it. Not to mention the beast could angle around to bite her. She didn't voice her concern, instead following Theodore's lead. "Then we will have to continue to be careful."
They'd be putting the harness on her? Did they have elves for that? "Of course, and while I'm sure it comes as no surprise you'll have to show me how. I've never put a harness on one."
