She lifted her hand at his request, being guided to the soft mane of the horse. The horse merely let out a blow of air, but otherwise ignored them. Her hand traced the line of its graceful neck as she kept an eye on the creature for any sudden movements. The other horse had acted perfectly innocent before changing their minds quite suddenly. She had always wanted to learn to ride and partake in such a noble and traditional pastime but it simply wasn't for her.
It didn't help that after she got thrown off the last time it sent her into a stuttering spell for weeks. She wasn't quick to forgive such things, even if rationally she knew that problem lay with her own faulty wiring.
"I wish we knew her name. We'll have to ask on the way out. I feel silly for not getting a roster beforehand. It seems odd not to be able to properly address it."
