Theodore couldn't help but spare a glance towards her arm, which was covered, but focused elsewhere in the pub as he indulged in an emotion that vaguely resembled envy. He would have preferred to work at the Ministry, where his work would have been better paid and significantly more secure, and while he was glad, of course, that Padma's unfortunate status hadn't rendered her jobless, he couldn't help but feel a hint of bitterness at the back of his throat.
