So far, the evening had been a success. Percy was out to prove to Katie that he could indeed have a good time and relax. Then, perhaps, the word would spread to his family and their friends so then they would finally get off his case. Too many people remembered him from his days as Prefect and Headboy at Hogwarts. Admittedly, he retained many of the same personality traits, but Percy thought their estimation wasn't very fair, especially since most of the people he was acquaintances with didn't know him intimately. At least, that was how he justified himself.
Dabbing the corners of his mouth with a napkin, which he then placed on the table, Percy noted the menu in Katie's hand and asked, "Do you wish to forgo dessert? If you'd like, we could pick up something later?"
