"Daddy-hood suits you." She supposed fatherhood was the correct word, but George seemed far more a daddy than a father.
She shrugged with an easy smile. "I'm not worried about my birthday, George. They're a good bit more important when you're wee than when you're twenty-two. And much as I didn't get on with mine, I can't even imagine what it would've been like to lose my mom when I was wee. You've already made a big deal of it, what with giving me the day off, and having breakfast."
