George smiled, pleased that people found the store still brilliant and amazing. He tried hard at that, not wanting to let Fred down. And it pleased him to know his kid thought his shop was 'cool.'
"I'm sorry," Natalie said again. "My mum didn't tell me either," she paused at the thought of her mum, but then looked back up at George quickly. "But it's okay, I like you, Mr. Ge— Daddy," she clarified. She reached over and patted him on the knee.
"Hey," George said with a grin, "I'm a great spoiler. Be prepared for what your asking for."
