"I'm fine," she murmured instantly, but was grateful to be sitting again. She sank into the cushions of the couch, grateful for their soft padding. The cot in the Ministry had been horrible. She accepted the water, but left the crackers on the table. She tried not to drink it too quickly, but she felt terribly thirsty.
Padma extended her arm to him at his question in regards to her wound. Her wound was still covered in gauze beneath her ripped blouse sleeve, and while it wasn't soaked entirely through, it was clear she'd bled more since it was adhered. His words made her remember something Auror Sanchez had said.
