"Only for you, we needed this time. I have missed you." He held onto her arm as he guided them down the stairs toward the beach. He had packed a picnic basket with all types of sandwiches, fruits, and cheeses because he wasn't sure what she would want. "Look at you." he said quietly as he slipped an arm around her. "How many weeks do you have left?" he looked at her stomach, feeling a bit guilty because of his errant thoughts about her and the proof of another man's baby clear in front of them.
He cleared his throat quietly and shoved the thoughts away. He was too aware of the last time they had been together and the events that had occurred. He had chosen Ginny and Daphne had chosen Dean. It was how things were.
"You know, I came here a few times over the summer in fifth year with my Aunt Circe. She loved the beach." He was horrible at small talk. He just wanted to enjoy the quiet scenery.
