Who: Anthony and Padma When: Saturday, May 7 Where: The beach What: Two friends try to get away and relax, but their problems follow their minds Rating: PG Status: threading
Every day was a strain, and Anthony could imagine how things would get worse. Nothing he did seemed to make a difference, nothing he did was right. Even the Safe House he'd worked so hard to purchase and set up felt like a flop. He was a failure on top of being a Dark Wizard, and all his friends were getting screwed over by the Ministry, left and right. Having a relaxing day at the beach felt inconsistent with how he felt and a joke, considering how people were being badly mistreated. But Padma insisted. She even packed a picnic lunch. How could he decline after she'd gone through so much work?
Stripped down to his swimming trunks, Anthony sat on a blanket watching the waves crash upon the shore. Knees curled up against his chest, his fingers were locked together and pressed against his mouth as he thought, oblivious to the fun being had around him by playful and blissfully ignorant Muggles.
